The purpose in creating Patagonia was to convey the intimate experience of walking among tall, lush trees, rather than to reproduce every detail exactly. The path that runs through the composition is an invitation to the viewer: an open way toward the light, toward the unknown, toward the possibility of moving forward. It is not just a visual element, but a symbol of transit and discovery. The intense green dominates the scene because it is the color of life, renewal, and the energy that pulses in nature. I applied it with thick, gestural brushstrokes, seeking that the painting is not only seen, but felt. The texture of the impasto makes the foliage almost tangible, as if the viewer could brush the leaves with their gaze. The blue sky and white clouds balance the density of the forest, providing air and breath, reminding us that even in the thickness there is always an opening toward above.

The emotion of the moment, the silence interrupted by the wind, the freshness of the air, the feeling of moving toward an open horizon. The central path is a metaphor for continuity, for hope, for the certainty that there is always a path forward. The absence of human figures reinforces the autonomy of nature, its ability to assert itself and envelop us. My signature in the corner is a testimony of my presence, but the work belongs to the forest itself. I wanted each glance at the painting to be a breath, a pause that invites you to enter the scene and let yourself be carried away by its energy. This painting is my way of sharing the vitality of nature and of reminding that, amid the density, there is always a clearing that guides us.
