Description
Limay IV.
In this painting, I seek to capture the quiet beauty of the Limay River during autumn. I am drawn to the row of trees along the water’s edge, where golden, ochre, and rust-colored leaves contrast with the cool blues of the sky and river.
I use expressive brushstrokes and layered colors to convey the changing season. The reflections create a visual dialogue between the trees and the water, adding depth and rhythm to the composition. Rather than focusing on precise details, I aim to express the atmosphere and emotion of the landscape.
For me, the Limay River represents a special connection with the natural world of Patagonia. Its peaceful waters and changing colors invite contemplation. Through this work, I hope viewers can feel the serenity of the place and appreciate the subtle beauty of a familiar landscape transformed by autumn light.
