Description
Paradise is an impressionist representation of a natural landscape brimming with life. I worked with oil and spatula, applying the impasto technique to build thick layers of paint that create texture and depth. The palette is rich and diverse, blending warm tones of orange, red, and yellow with cooler shades of blue, green, and white.
The pathway at the center of the composition guides the viewer’s gaze into the distance, suggesting depth and perspective. It becomes a road that invites one to step inside the scene, as if crossing into another world.
This work seeks to offer a visceral experience, encouraging viewers to feel the emotions conveyed by color and texture—beyond the limits of detailed representation.
